Founded in 2021 by Murilo Sahb, Cornerstone was born from a simple belief — that homeowners investing in their pools deserve to work directly with the people who actually do the work. Murilo brings over a decade of dedicated pool remodeling experience and more than fifteen years of tile expertise, including training under Italian tile masters who set the standard for precision installation. That level of craft isn't something you pick up from a weekend certification. It's built over years of hands-on work, project after project.
Today, Murilo leads a team of skilled tradespeople who share that same commitment to quality. Every project is personally overseen by Murilo from the initial walkthrough to the final detail — not handed off to a subcontractor and forgotten about. Our crews are trained to meet the standard our clients expect, and Murilo is on-site to make sure that standard is met.

Within DaysMurilo comes to your property within a few days to inspect the pool in person — structure, surface condition, equipment, coping, tile, and deck. This isn't a clipboard walkthrough. It's a hands-on evaluation by the person who will oversee every phase of the work.
Design & Material Selection
1–2 MeetingsWe walk through material options together — finishes, coping, tile, and deck surfaces — based on your budget, style, and how you use your pool. Murilo personally brings homeowners to a tile and finish center to see and feel samples under real lighting, or brings samples directly to your home. You'll touch what goes in your pool before committing to it.

Proposal & Contract
Clear & DetailedYou receive a detailed proposal with a clear scope of work, transparent pricing, and a realistic timeline. No hidden fees, no vague line items. You'll know exactly what you're paying for and when each phase will happen.
Prep & Demolition
Days 1–3Once the contract is signed, our crew drains the pool and begins demolition — removing old surface material, coping, tile, and deck sections as needed. This is where the transformation starts, and it's done by the same team that handles the build.
Renovation
1–3 WeeksThe build phase — structural repairs, new surface application, coping, tile, deck work, and equipment upgrades — is handled entirely by Cornerstone's own crew. No subcontractors rotating through. One team, one standard, start to finish.
Final Walkthrough
Project CompleteWhen the work is done, Murilo walks through the finished project with you in person. The pool is filled, the equipment is running, and every detail is reviewed together. We don't consider a job done until you do.
